Manfulou Restaurant

23 August 2010 No Comment

Manfulou Restaurant (满福楼) was established in 1991. Lamb hot pots (instant boiled lamb) of the Qing Dynasty imperial style are its specialty. The decoration inside the restaurant looks like a duplicate royal kitchen. Lambs are carefully selected from Inner Mongolia. In order to serve fresh and tender meat, only about half a kilogram of hindquarter meat is used from a 40-kilogram lamb. Its condiment is a mixture of 28 ingredients. Besides the instant boiled lamb, cuttlefish meat balls, smoked lamb kebabs and sesame pancakes are also very delicious and popular. Over the years, Manfulou has received a lot of guests including Beijing locals, tourists, state leaders, ambassadors and celebrities.
